So here is what is happening with us. The boys and I are still in St. Louis. This housing market is not being kind to us. I was really hoping that we would have made the move to Texas by now, but unfortunately it just hasn't worked out that way. We are planning a visit to Texas soon to start our house hunting down there. We would like to get the move done before school starts there. The next couple of weeks should tell us if we can make that happen or not.
I haven't been able to do anything creative in quite a while. I packed up most of my stuff to make the house "show-ready". I'm anxious to get back to making stuff and not worry about the mess I'm making! lol!
Since the boys and me are still here, we decided to do a farewell to St. Louis tour. We are planning on visiting all of our favorite touristy spots here before we leave.
The first one we went to was the Magic House. We love the Magic House! We have gone here since the boys were little and suddenly I was taking the following pictures and it hit me. My boys won't be able to visit here anymore. It has been such a fun part of our time here in St. Louis. Now I know they will grow out of the Magic House soon enough, but I really got a little teary when I was taking these shots.
And here is why I got a little sad. I went and found these old pictures of both boys doing this exact same art project when they were little.
Now this picture of Spencer isn't the best. I didn't have my fancy camera back then. lol! This was actually taken on his 2nd birthday. I had forgot that I took him to the Magic House that day to celebrate. Look how little he is!
And here is Connor. He is about 2 1/2 here. These pictures brought back so many memories for me of all the great times we have had here.
I'm guessing that I'm going to be having a few of these trips down memory lane as we continue on our Farewell to St. Louis tour.
While some of these will more than likely bring a tear or two, after all both boys were born here, we are ready to start our new adventure in Texas! And make lots of new memories.
If only someone would buy my house! Please!
Thanks for visiting me! And I promise not to take that long of a blog break again!

So happy to see you blogging again! I love seeing pics of your beautiful boys! Looks like you are having a fun summer with them. They are going to have wonderful memories from St. Louis. I am still praying that your house sells soon and that you will be settled in Texas soon. Hang in there.
This answers my question. Keep in touch with me. I hope we can meet up soon.
