The painting has begun!

I started painting Spencer's room yesterday. And I will admit it. I am a really slow painter. But I do think I am a good painter. I tape everything off and make sure the floor is covered and if I do have a drip I wipe it up right away. Unlike someone who shall remain nameless, but let me just say that painting a room a deep, dark red without a drop cloth on the floor is just asking for trouble. (Cough, cough, Chris)

Spencer was home sick from school today, so he helped for just a little bit. Yesterday I got a call from the school nurse that he was running a fever so I went to pick him up and she said he couldn't come back until he was 24 hours fever free. Well he is feeling much better today and no fever, so tomorrow is back to school.

He was very proud of his artwork on the wall. And I think he was very disappointed when I told him it wasn't staying.
